Venue Hire

The Concert Hall is the home base of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Its acoustical design allows for other functions besides music: the auditorium is suitable also for speech and drama. Would you like to rent the Concert Hall?

Get in touch, and we will tell you more!

The fan-shaped auditorium has a raked lower level seating 633 and a tiered upper level seating 369, to a total capacity of 998. Visibility and acoustics are excellent everywhere in the auditorium.

The foyers (lower foyer 947 sq.m and upper foyer 489 sq.m) are spacious and well laid out. They have been used for events as diverse as car, boat, fashion and beauty fairs and various other events and exhibitions. Our well-lit, fully licensed café adjoins the lower foyer.

The Studio seats 60 and is suitable for recordings, photo shoots and meetings. Movable acoustic elements allow the room reverb to be adjusted as required.

The Concert Hall has a fully licensed café in the lower foyer, with separate service points in the upper foyer. The café is run by Konserttitalo Catering.

The Concert Hall may be rented by third-party concert organisers, businesses, organisations and private individuals. Apart from the auditorium, the foyers may be rented wholly or partly for the purpose of organising exhibitions or presentations. Pre-designed conference packages are also available, including the conference room, basic equipment setup, cloakroom services and catering as requested.
The upper foyer of the Concert Hall is an excellent venue for private parties such as wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, memorial receptions, graduation parties or Christmas parties. Our party package offers a flat rate for the premises and the staff required. Contact us for a customised offer!
