Turku Philharmonic Orchestra plays the most popular symphonic choir parts and greatest opera overtures with conductor Pertti Pekkanen. The concerts present a bombastic program with Händel´s Halleluja from Messiah oratorio, Wagner´s Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin opera, parts from Orff´s Carmina Burana, Sibelius´ Finlandia and Elgar´s “Land of Hope and Glory”.
Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir Chorus Cathedralis Aboensis will take the stage, and also the audience is invited to sing along. Lyrics will be handed out and also a karaoke text will help in the concerts. Welcome to have a good time with the world´s most bombastic choir music and a giant choir of 1100 members!
