The concert transports its audience to the bright spring days of childhood, memories of love, profound emotions, nostalgia, dark forests and a profound contemplation of eternity. Johanna Suvenmetsä is known as an artist with a distinctive voice, a creative spirit and a style of her own, who strives for authenticity, timelessness and depth in her expression. Suvenmetsä recites her own poems amidst the springtime greenery of Ruissalo. The programme weaves together the beautiful music of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Pärt and the Danish String Quartet, conveying universal emotions with improvisational segments.
